Oh to have such peace and security. Dh is really struggling with the fact that we are stuck in this horrible apartment while the neighborhood is quickly declining. We live in HUD regulated low income housing here in OC meaning that we pay MUCH Less than going rate for the apartment. We have a 2brm 1200 sq ft. Townhome, for roughly $1000 a month. This same apartment elsewhere would run closer to $1500-1800.. So you can see why we stay here. However, as the neighborhood goes downhill we are feeling less and less secure here. I am almost positive that the neighbor directly across from me is dealing, He just got out of jail not 3 months ago. Plus he is totally into gangs. It wasnt like this 6 years ago when we moved in.

We want out, but cant afford to move elsewhere. So we are stuck here. I told dh that the only way I can see us getting out of here is to move out of state where Cost of Living is less, but then we face the fact that while cost of living is less income is less as well, and we have x amount of money that wont change - student loans, credit cards, car payment etc.. It really sucks when you make $50K a year and can barely make ends meat.. Heck that would be no problem for just Dh and I, but with 3 kids, its nearly impossible. Arrg...

Oh well I guess I will just take a cue from the above picture, and turn my eyes towards God, trust in Him, and be secure where I am, until He provides the opportunity to change our circumstances.
